I had the opportunity to work with George in my late teenager years. He inspired me to get into the security and investigations field and I am still in the investigations field today because of him. Throughout the years we had such a great time when we were together. George would help anyone that needed help and had a warm heart. Sad to see him pass so soon. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Uncle George was a truly one of a kind great man. He would do anything for anyone. As funny as it may sound, I loved to watch he and Aunt Cheryl get on each others nerves. It was comical yet you could tell how much love the two of them shared for each other. I was lucky enough to witness one of his very last selfless acts of kindness toward her. He always knew Aunt Cheryl wanted a grandmothers ring. He secretly arranged for this ring to be ordered for her for Christmas. Unfortunately it arrived the day of his passing and he was not able to give it to her himself. I was there when all five grandchildren presented it to Aunt Cheryl on the evening of his passing. It was one of the most touching and caring things I have seen. Even in his last days of life she was his priority. I know he will watch over her and continue to be her angel and protector. We will all miss you, Uncle George.

I was sorry to hear that George had passed away. He was a good friend and co-worker to Ken and Justin. For a couple of Christmases George would give our family a box of peanut brittle. We always enjoyed it and I thought what a thoughtful gift. Then he told Ken that Cheryl wouldn't let him eat it and he had to get it out of the house. We had a good laugh and enjoyed the peanut brittle. He was a sweet man whose humor and thoughtfulness will be missed. Ken, Nancy and Justin Schroer

George was such a sweet man. He was always a good friend and co-worker to Ken and Justin. Every Christmas, for several years, he would give our family a box of peanut brittle. We always enjoyed it and I thought what a thoughtful gift but then he told Ken that Cheryl wouldn't let him eat it so he had to get it out of the house. We had a chuckle over that and always looked forward to the peanut brittle. His humor and thoughtfulness will be missed. Ken, Nancy and Justin Schroer

I appreciated my Uncle George :{D ...My Uncle George was the one person that I honestly can say kept me going on to get my Bachelor's degree when I wanted stop college and try my luck at Caterpillar. He told me he'd plant his foot in my backside if I did. And he told me the simple truth of what he thought of what a degree would provide me vs the alternative. Thanks to his simple proverbial threat and insistence that I keep going, to stay the course in college, I can say he played a key role in getting me into the scientific field I have served as a expert for some 31 years now. We shared this understanding and I'm glad to have told him many a time that I appreciated his wise advice. Uncle George you will be missed, & eternally remembered. My condolences and wishes for God's blessing at this time for Auntie Cheryl and the family.
