Gregory Clendenny Obituary
GLASFORD – Gregory K. "Solid Gold" Clendenny, 61, of Glasford passed away at 8:44 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2016, at his residence.
He came into this world on July 31, 1955, in Griggsville, IL, to Keith and Arlis (Lane) Clendenny
Surviving is the mother of his four children, Laura Clendenny of Canton; daughters, Amy (Kevin) Anderson, Amber (Ben) Davis, Julie Clendenny and Lisa Clendenny, all of Canton. Also surviving are two sisters, Regina McCuistion of Canton and Monica Clendenny of Canton; two brothers, Kevin Clendenny of Canton and Darren (Sandra) Clendenny of Dunfermiline; two granddaughters, Ruby and Elsie Anderson; and is his girlfriend, Jamie Mabis.
Greg retired from Caterpillar, Inc. in 2007.
He was a gentle man, who never met a stranger. He was always with a smile and a kind word. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as fishing, hunting, flowers, gardening, dancing and music.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his four beautiful daughters, family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, with a funeral service on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the family, c/o CEFCU.

I am so sorry for Gregg family. I just talked to Greg and his daughter Monday night at the Govt Mule show. I worked with Greg, and even rode to work with him and lil' Tommy for several years. He is gone way to soon and the world has just lost a beautiful person. He was a good friend. Paul "Rambo"miller.
