PEORIA - Jeanette Elizabeth Dailey, 61, of Peoria, IL, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at New Mt. Sinai M.B. Church, with a visitation one half hour prior, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Joseph Cherry and Minister Cleo Dailey III will officiate.
Simons Mortuary will be entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at simonsmortuary.com.

It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of my dear friend Jeanette. Please know that our hearts go out to the family. Jeanette and I have spent many days walking to school together, and doing girly things that would be at the edge of getting us in trouble with our parents. To this day her mom still keeps me in line. Sorry that we can't be there, but you are in our prayers.

My dear friend Jeanette words can't express the feeling inside right now. I won't forget the talks we used to have at senior world while waiting on our clients to come out. To the Dailey family; I am so sorry about you guys losing your mom; God wanted her and called her home. You guys are going to have some days when you want to talk to her, but always remember she is not here in the flesh but here in the spirit. Always Between You, Me, & The God: I Love you. I'm glad I got the chance to tell you that before you left Earth. Although you have a new home, I will miss watching sports, our "little too late" talk as Women on 041717(we had a good laugh, tho..lol), and doing crossword puzzles together during your last days on Earth. You ran your race, Mom; You've finished your course.
