While I never worked directly with John at the Air National Guard our paths crossed quite often during various exercises. Sometimes as the sun was just peeking over the horizon or when the wind was ripping raw across the ramp John would cut loose with a joke or a funny story and suddenly everyone's load was just a little lighter. He was a fine man and I wish to give my condolences for your loss.
