Justin Squires
DELAVAN - Justin Andrew Squires, 17, of Delavan passed away at 2:45 p.m. Monday January 21, 2019, at his home.
He was born on February 8, 2001, in Pekin to Mark and Beth Lolling Squires.
Surviving are his parents, Mark (Beth) Squires of Delavan; paternal grandparents, Harold (Marilyn) Squires of San Jose; one sister, Jacelyn Squires of Delavan; one aunt, Teresa (Mike) Birdsell of Hopedale; one uncle, Steve (Florence) Lolling of Ottawa; many cousins; and his beloved cat, Nugget "Beans."
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred (Mildred "Wimpy") Lolling; and one sister, Rachel N. Frizzell.
He was a senior at Delavan High School, where he participated in cross country and track and was part of the FCA and the Science Club.
Justin enjoyed running, fishing, going to the movies, hanging out with friends and video games.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the Delavan High School Poppenga Gymnasium. Pastor Stephanie McCullough will officiate. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the high school gymnasium. Burial will be at Green Valley Cemetery in Green Valley.
Memorials may be made to the Delavan High School Track and Cross-Country teams.
