Kelly was so happy in this moment - we were at the Hangout music fest In early May 2011 - at Orange Beach Alabama to see Widespread Panic ! And it was a joyous time. There was so much beauty in the gulf shores area and blue water around us. Will always remember that trip w Kelly. And the big smile on his face

My deepest sympathies to the Winne family. Kelly was a dear friend of mine in Chicago and a good “kid” at heart. This old soul is saddened at the news of his passing. I can only sit by the big blue lake in silence today. I know he is in God’s hands now. I have many good photos of Kelly Smiling enjoying Chicago Lake Michigan boating and music festivals that I will gather and send. God bless you all
