PEORIA - Lea Ann Crawford, 54, of Peoria passed away at 10:06 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.
Lea Ann was born in Peoria on March 6, 1961, to Loren T. and Lucille M. (Wilke) Crawford Sr.
She is survived by her amazing and loving daughter, Joscelyn Marie Lockwood (Michael Holzinger) of Peoria. Also surviving are her brother, Loren (Cindy) Crawford Jr.; and sister, Bonnie Bakin. Lea Ann was dedicated to her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and her many, many friends.
Her parents; a sister, Clair Abel; and brother-in-law, Ken Bakin, preceded her in death
Lea Ann attended Peoria Heights schools and cosmetology school and received her associates degree from Illinois Central College in 2011. She worked for many years for Aramark in Pekin schools and eight years at ICC in Student Services.
She wanted to be an organ donor, but she gave her whole heart to life.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of her life will be shared by family and friends at the home of Justin and Jessica Tharp, 1712 E. St. Jude Court, Peoria Heights, on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Easter Seals of Central Illinois.

I have seen and talked to LeaAnn many times over the years since high school. Every time it seemed like we saw each other the day before. She was such a sweet person and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
