ATLANTA - Lisa A. Kuhlmann, 50, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Lisa Anne Kuhlmann was born on Sept. 18, 1963, the daughter of Robert A. and Margo Ann McKenna Kuhlmann. She was united in marriage to Brian Adams on Aug. 7, 2010. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Margo A. Kuhlmann of Atlanta; her brother, Jeffrey Allen (Julie) Kuhlmann of Fithian; stepdaughter, Abigail Adams of Kansas State University; three nephews, Tyler, Trace and Trey; maternal grandmother, Lillian Flory of Florida; Brian's parents, Donna and Larry Maxson of Germantown Hills; brother-in-law, Kenny (Rhuda) Adams of Metamora; sisters-in-law, Mindy (Kenny) Hopp of Washington and Dawn (Charles) Mulligan of Canton; and special lifetime friend, Pam Johnson Beach.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandfather, William McKenna; paternal grandparents, Anita and Reinhold Kuhlmann; father-in-law, Jack Adams; and uncle, Ronald Kuhlmann.

Lisa graduated from Olympia High School in 1981.

She had been employed at Hampton Kitchen and Bath and had just completed her 20th year with the United Parcel Service.

She was a member of Teamsters Local 710.

She loved her animals, cooking and gardening. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her and knew her.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Brian & Family I will truly miss my friend Lisa she was so special to us all.
