Marjorie Bicknell Obituary
Eureka-Marjorie R. Bicknell, 83, of Eureka passed away at 12:56 am on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She was born on June 7, 1934 in Waynesville, IL a daughter of Leonard "Carl" and Helen Cunningham Wampler. She married Doug Bicknell on June 16, 1950 in Waynesville, IL. He passed away on March 6, 1998.
Surviving are two children, Keith Bicknell and Karen (Terry) Wertz both of Eureka; four grandchildren, Dennis (Kari) Wertz; Misty Greiner; Nathan (Barbara) Wertz all of Eureka; Angela Handrich of Roanoke; six great-grandchildren, Hanna, Mason, Samantha, Miranda, Brody, and Cadin; two brothers, Dale (Sylvia) Wampler; Gary (Sandy) Wampler; and one sister, Donna (Vernon) Berkley all of Lincoln, IL.
Marjorie worked as a clerk at the IGA for 20 years until her retirement in 1996. She also volunteered at the Eureka Food Pantry.
She was a member of the Eureka United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and helped watch children during the church service.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the
Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Rev. Paul Wier will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9-11 am at the funeral home before the service. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Eureka United Methodist Church or Waynesville United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be sent to www.argoruestmanharris.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Marj's passing. Blessings to the Bicknell family as you go through the following days, weeks and months. I was the Manager at Maple Lawn Apartments when she lived there.
