Martin Economos
PEKIN — Martin P. Economos, 53, of Pekin passed away at 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his home.
He was born November 4, 1965, in Athens, GA, to Nick and Carolyn Lanter Economos.
Surviving are his four children, Chasen Schmidt and Ashley Economos, both of Pekin, and Levi and Connor Economos, both of Peoria; one sister, Karie Economos Coggins of Pekin; one brother, Steve Economos of Pekin; and one granddaughter, Uilani Economos of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three grandparents, Paul (Ruth) Kucik and Pete Economos.
Martin graduated from Olympia High School, where he was a school mascot, "Spartan Martin."
He worked several years in construction, many of which were at Ragland Builders in Hopedale, IL.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services.
