PEKIN - Raymond W. "Ray" McMillan III, 67, of Pekin passed away at 3:57 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015, at the Largo Medical Center emergency room in Largo, Fla.
Born Sept. 10, 1947, in Covington, Ky., to Raymond Jr. and Loretta (Schoo) McMillan, he married Sue Elizabeth Rudolph on Dec. 5, 1970, in Newport, Ky. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Chris (Sami Howell) McMillan of Valparaiso, Ind.; one granddaughter, Kylie McMillan of Valparaiso, Ind.; his mother, Loretta McMillan of Newport, Ky.; two sisters, Pat (Rich Beal) McMillan of Southgate, Ky., and Donna (Larry) Walz of Newport, Ky.; one brother, Jim (Lisa) McMillan of Fort Thomas, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death.
He was a United States Army veteran.
Ray was a co-owner and former president of Pyro Industrial Services in Portage, Ind., where he began working on June 15, 1992. Previously, he worked at Newport Steel in Newport, Ky., and later at Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville.
Ray enjoyed entertaining his friends and traveling, especially to Florida.
His visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A time of sharing memories of Ray will follow at 4 p.m. Cremation will be accorded.

Sue so sorry for ur loss. Ray was a wonderful man and like a father to me. Just last Friday he took my finance and I out to dinner to selabrate. I will always cheerish the time we had. My prayers go out to you're family.

Sue, So sorry for your loss. Ray was a great guy, I have a lot of wonderful memories of Thanksgivings spent with him at Aunt Lou's house while growing up. I will have you and all the family in my prayers.
