Robert Mosburg Obituary
BARTONVILLE - Robert Donald Mosburg, 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. He was born in Peoria on October 6, 1946, to John Jacob Mosburg, and Ella Lee Huff Mosburg. Bob married Linda Smith on August 24, 1968, and she survives. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and several great nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jody Ann Mosburg; brother, William Mosburg; and sisters, Nancy Arnold, and Judith Mills. Bob was employed by Pabst Brewery for 17 years. He worked in surveying for Brown Engineering, worked as a millwright, and also worked for Vonachen Service. A member of Wood Duck Gun Club, he enjoyed fishing, and hunting with his close friends, and family. Cremation has been accorded. Private interment will take place at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Parkinson's Foundation. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

I’m heartbroken to see that Bob has passed . Bob was my boss for a Period of time and co worker at PMI (Vonachen services ) in the late 90s up until his retirement I think 2008. Bob believed in me and gave me my first leadership opportunity around 2000 (I was 20 years old ) and in many ways was like a father to me . I will never forget Bob as I have and always credit him for being the 1st to give me a shot.
