Shirley Lilienthal Obituary
MACKINAW - Shirley A. Lilienthal, 81, of Mackinaw, IL, passed away at her home Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Shirley was born November 9, 1934, in Mackinaw to Arville E. and Florence Hedrick Winkler. She married Floyd E. Lilienthal November 10, 1954, in Danvers. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Ruby, two brothers, Virgil and Gene, one grandson, Joshua Owen.
Shirley is survived by one son, Dale (Debbie) Lilienthal of Mackinaw; three daughters, Susan (Ralph) Mitchell Jr., of Mackinaw, Brenda (Russ) Owen of Murray, KY, Anita (Glen) Frank of Mackinaw; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister, Marilyn Winkler of Mackinaw.
Shirley was a housewife and a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all.
Services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw. The Rev. Kevin Sauder will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to; Hospice Compassus 2000 W Pioneer Pkwy #24, Peoria, IL 61615.
