Stacie Dowell Obituary
CANTON - Stacie M. Dowell, 45, of Canton passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
She was born on October 8, 1973, in Canton to Steven A. and Jan (Ubell) Dowell.
Surviving are her mother, Jan; two best friends, Amanda Petty and Cassie Price, both of Canton; many lifelong friends; and her beloved dog, Rudy.
Stacie was preceded in death by her father, Steven.
Stacie worked as a medical office assistant at UnityPoint Methodist Center in Canton, IL. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton, IL. Owning a Jeep was Stacie's pride and joy. She was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan. Stacie loved music and dancing. She was an outgoing person and was never shy about voicing her opinion.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2019, at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Canton, IL. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or St. Mary's Food Pantry.

It's hard to believe that she has been gone for a year, and we still miss her smile, and Beautiful face at Unity Point Methodist in Canton Illinois. Thinking of Stacie Dowell and her family and loved ones. Fly High Girl. RIP.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of this Beautiful girl Stacie Dowell, her smile and chipper Attitude will be dearly missed at Our Unity Point Clinic, and everywhere around Canton. She was a very sweet lady, taken way too soon. Sending thoughts and prayers to you all, and my most sincere sympathy and condolences. RIP Stacie Dowell.
