Suzanne Alexander Obituary
MARQUETTE HEIGHTS - Suzanne Kay Bardwell Alexander, 47, of Marquette Heights passed away at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010.
She was born Dec. 11, 1962, in Peoria.
She is survived by two daughters, Breanna and Brittany Bardwell; parents, Pat (Jim) Baumgartner of Weslaco, Texas, and Bill (Judy) Bardwell of Bartonville. Suzanne is also survived by three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Liberty Hall on Lincoln Road in Marquette Heights.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Bartonville Bank for her daughters.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co., Pekin/Peoria, is assisting the family with arrangements.

To Sue's entire family... Sending many thoughts, prayers, and hugs your way! I am still devistated that this has really happended... When I met my birth family about 13 years ago, Sue (being my newly met cousin) so graciously opened her home for me to visit and get to know her, Crystal and her (our) family... Sue was a beautiful, amazing woman and a great mother.She was good at giving advice and she sure knew how to make you laugh. She was like another mom to Myself and a few more of Breanna and Brittny's friends. We are very greatful to have known Sue. My six year old daughter thinks of Sue everytime something is beautiful around the house. Sue always took the time to do something extra special for her. We are really going to miss her. Brittany, Breanna, and Akia, you are in our thoughts.

I can still see you Sue sitting in my salon chair a week ago making sure i cut your hair just like you wanted. I will miss our conversations and all the laughs we shared at the salon!!I'm so sorry your life had to end this way but now you are in a better place with no more worries. Sue alway treated my little girls with so much care. Everytime I brought my Puppy to DQ she made sure that she got ice cream to. DQ will not be the same. I am sorry

She was an amazing woman, a great friend, and a great mother. She loved the world & she loved meeting new people. She was the strongest woman in the world that I knew. I only shared a brief time with Sue, but I remember clearly her contagious laugh and the love for her girls. I also remember how excited she was about her granddaughter. I met Sue through a mutual friend. To Sue's family: Sometimes things are hard to understand and you ask why? I am so sorry you had pass the way you did Suzann do not worry your daughters will be taken good care of. You are such a kind person to me and my family, I will never forget when me and my three kids ordered Ice cream and you got my youngest order wrong, I thought he would throw a fit, he was cool with what he got and we were all joking about it. He has auspergers and has a behavior problem, u still treated him the same and he will never forget that. We will all miss you. God be with you

I just want to say to you breanna and Brittney that I know that it is hard right now but ask God to give you strength and he will give it to you. Sue was my sister-n-law and my best friend. How does someone say goodbye to that. I am deeply touched by the outpouring of thoughts and love by everyone during this very tough time for our family. I can still see Sue laughing in my mind. A sweetheart.We worked together at 4 or 5 Family Dollars. She was my assistant mgr. We had alot of fun working together. She loved her girls more than anything. My love and prayers are with her family.
