Thomas "Joe" Shinkle
BRADFORD - Thomas "Joe" Shinkle, 69, of Bradford, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 6:09 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021.
He was born on July 28, 1951, in Peoria, IL, the son of George "Bob" and Rosemary (Barrowman) Shinkle. Joe married Pamela Dreier on May 19, 1984, in Morton, Illinois. She survives in Bradford.
Joe grew up in Peoria, attending Woodruff High School and was a member of the Rock n' Roll group, The Clan.
Joe worked for Caterpillar for 30 years as an electrician. He went on to own his own business in Bradford, and later he worked at Senica Foods.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind the lights of his life: his loving wife, Pamela K. Shinkle; and his precious daughter, Rosemary Shinkle. He also will be remembered by his siblings, Jim Shinkle and Angie (Ron) Jolliff; and his father-in-law, Udo Dreier.
He was a joy and friend to many and he will be missed.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to different charities.
