Logan Frank Wernz, 82, of Fairfield Glade TN passed away Sunday, December 7th, 2025.
He was born October 19, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN, son of the late Gene and Virginia Wernz and spent his childhood in Peru, IN. Logan received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University in 1967 and was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
He had a long and successful business career, which started with Parker Hannifin. He later became a leader in the supermarket equipment industry, first as President of Ardco in Chicago then President of Kysor Warren in Atlanta. He retired in October of 2000 and later moved to Fairfield Glade with his wife.
Logan is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Kathryn Wernz; sons Michael Wernz (Suzanne Ries) and Jeffrey Wernz (Carson) of Marietta, GA; daughter Kathryn Voltmer (Ellen Miller) of Chicago; grandchildren Henry, Kate and Drew; and beloved brother Rick Wernz (Robin) of Suwanee, GA.
In addition to his parents, Logan was preceded in death by brother Stephen Wernz of Peru, IN and sister Virginia "Beth" Kitts of Crown Point, IN.
Logan enjoyed Purdue sports, his men's golfing group, playing cards, going out to breakfast, his loyal dog Rusty, and living on beautiful Lake Dartmoor.

Condolences to Logan´s family. An intelligent, accomplished and caring person with a keen sense of humor. I´ve admired Logan and enjoyed his friendship since I first met him over 65 years ago. He will be greatly missed.
