Mona Jean Hiatt

Mona Jean (Bridenthal) Hiatt, 92, of Wabash, Indiana, died 12:00 pm, Monday, November 10, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 13, 1933, in Converse, Indiana, to Paul Bridenthal and Helen (Overmyer) Ozenbaugh.

Mona graduated from Converse High School. She worked as a home health aide. Mona was a member of Gospel Light Assembly of God, in Wabash, and loved to volunteer to help others. Above all, she loved and cherished all of her family.

She is survived by six children, Dennis Olinger of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kathryn Smith, Carolyn (Ed) Powers, and Carla Olinger, all of Wabash, Molly (Skip) Olinger-Edwards of Hiram, Georgia, and Jana Olinger of Wabash, as well as several grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; one sister, and her great grandson, Jackson Fetter.

A celebration of Mona's life will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Preferred memorial is Breast Cancer Research.
