John Mydosh, age 82 of Sciota passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono in East Stroudsburg.
John was the loving husband of Pastor Pauline (Lozier) Mydosh. They celebrated their 29th Wedding Anniversary on July 5, 2020.
John was born in Middletown, NY October 29, 1938, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Brundage) Mydosh.
He served our country with dedication and courage in the United States Army.
John and Pauline owned and operated Avanti Creations in Brodheadsville for 17 years.
He was a member of the Ministry of Miracles Church in Sciota.
We have been blessed with the presence of John in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Pastor Pauline; his children: Laura Green and her husband Michael of Cresskill, NJ, Liz Barbrack and her husband Doug of Goshen, NY and Jack Mydosh of Highland Lakes, NJ; his stepsons: Allan Eldridge of Westfield, MA and Gary Eldridge of Nashua, NH.
He was the loving grandfather to his six grandchildren Matthew, Allison, Hannah, Sarah, Benjamin and Jack and his eight step grandchildren: Elizabeth, Melissa, Willow, Ivy, Jill, Larry, Danny and Allie and several great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic and weather a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I was young. I was Laura's boyfriend. He had such a calm spirit. Seemed to be always smiling. He had his chair I remember. I remember I blew up your Volkswagen. I thought I was dead. I also remember getting stuck in the snow and him teaching me about the use of sand. Lol. My spirit had me look this morning . So sorry for your loss. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to tell you all we will meet again.
