Born in Mt. Carmel, Northampton County, daughter of the late Peter and Sophia (Turko) Paskevich, she lived in Mountainhome, where she owned and operated Marie's Drive-in, noted for its sandwiches and Paul Bunyon hoagies, from 1949 until her retirement in 1970.
Marie worked in defense plants during World War II prior to moving to the Poconos.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Williams, of Greentown; a granddaughter, Vicki McLain, of Reeders; a brother, Peter Paskell, of Kulpmont and several nieces and nephews.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home, Route 191, Village of LaAnna, South Sterling.
