Myrna A. Roth, 82, of Saylorsburg, died Thursday, Sept. 23, in VNA Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital. Her husband, the Rev. Clarence L Roth died last year.
Born on May 27, 1922 in Paullina, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha (Ehlers) Goodmanson.
She was a secretary at various churches in New York and Pennsylvania.
She was a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township, where she was a Bible Study group leader and a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Survivors include her two sons, Philip V. and his wife, Linda of Saylorsburg and the Rev. Steven M. and his wife, Alison of Queens, N.Y.; a daughter, Miriam K. Blanco and her husband, Mark of Bronxville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren: Philip, Michael and Matthew Roth, Jonathan, David, Sarah and Rebecca Blanco and Jennifer Rivera; and a great granddaughter, Heidi Roth. Three brothers died earlier.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township.
Call will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 (tonight), in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton and from 11:30 a.m. Saturday, until the time of services in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Easton, PA 18040 or Rev. Clarence Roth Endowment Fund, c/o Concordia College, 171 White Plains Road, Bronxville, NY 18708.

Dear Family, I thank God and you for the privilege to love Myrna before her assention into heaven. We talked, prayed and cried together because of the goodness of our Lord and Savior. What love and joy He allowed us to share in such a short time. I know my is enriched by knowing her and I know how rich your live is to have had her love you all.
