Ray White Obituary

Ray D. White, 74, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on December 27, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with various illnesses.
Born in Detroit, MI on February 14, 1946, and raised in Waynesburg, PA, Mr. White graduated from Waynesburg HS in 1964. He enlisted in the Air Force in September of 1965, and proudly served his country for four years. During this time, he married his high school sweetheart, Beverly (Gray) - also of Waynesburg. Upon his honorable discharge, Mr. White worked for Rockwell International in Morgantown, WV, while pursuing his BS (business) degree at WVU (and later, his MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University. He enjoyed a long and successful career with Procter & Gamble, Best Foods Baking Group, and Best Foods/Unilever. Upon his retirement and move to East Stroudsburg, Mr. White volunteered countless hours within his community.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Beverly A. White; daughter, Teresa (John) Carver of Virginia Beach; son, Michael (Joelle) of Nazareth, PA; and son, Matthew (Giesela) of Montgomery, IL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Due to current restrictions, a celebration of life will be held (at a later date) at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Ray and Bev were the best neighbors while our children were growing up. We could and did depend on them for anything. We especially enjoyed sharing the holidays with them. We know that the family had a multitude of good memories to comfort them in their grief

Our condolences to Beverly and family on the passing of our courageous beloved friend Ray. Ray was the epitome of integrity; a caring, selfless gentleman. He never met a stranger, a person with a quick wit. The wonderful memories (England trip, etc.) we have with you and Beverly will carry us through this very difficult period.
