Rose Tarantola Obituary

Rose Tarantola, 91, of Mount Pocono, died on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Easton Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Tarantola.

Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Raphaela (Palumbo) Attianese.

She attended Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church in Mount Pocono.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Tarantola and his wife, Kristen, of Mountain Lakes, N.J.; a daughter, Rina Hansen and her husband, Ronald, of Cresco; a brother, Ernest Attianese of Toms River, N.J.; a sister, Sophie Early of Belmar, N.J.; four grandchildren, Glenn and Kimberly Hansen and Grace and Mia Tarantola; and a great-grandchild, Isabel Hansen.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Rev. Timothy Bertolet will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church. Interment will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery, Paradise Valley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
