Ruth Litzenberger Obituary
Ruth B. Leader Litzenberger, 80, of East Stroudsburg passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, at her home.
Born on Sept. 13, 1924, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Chester L. and Mary E. (Heater) Leader.
A resident of Monroe County for most of her life, she was a former employee of Linda Blouse Factory, East Stroudsburg.
She was a member of East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, East Stroudsburg.
Surviving are one brother, William Leader of East Stroudsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Snyder and Shirley Hilliard.
The Rev. Raymond Poortstra will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10 a.m. until time of the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, 83 S. Courtland St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
