Michael O'Hara Galloway

Mr. Michael O'Hara Galloway, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia, made his final journey to his eternal home on Sunday, July 6, 2025 with his wife by his side. He was born on July 26, 1945 in Vincent, Alabama to the late John Cooper "Jack" and Jewel Ava Allgood Galloway.

Mr. Galloway was raised in Cedartown, Georgia from a young boy. He graduated from CHS, class of 1963. After graduation, he enlisted into the US Army. Following his years of service, he worked briefly for G.E. and Lockheed and had a 33 year career with General Motors where he retired as a senior engineer in 2005.

Mr. Galloway is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Holly Brown Galloway; daughter, Rachel Galloway, of Canton; sons, Nathan Galloway and Bryan Galloway of Marietta; brother, Don Galloway (Pat); eight grandchildren; five nieces and several cousins also survive.

Mr. Galloway is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Sue Davis and brothers, John W. Galloway and James A. Galloway.

The funeral service for Mr. Galloway will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Fetkenhour officiating. Interment will be held in the family lot at Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Galloway will receive family and friends on Friday, July 11, 2025 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Family and friends of Mr. Galloway will serve as pallbearers.
