Trisha Lee Smith

Mrs. Trisha Lee Smith, age 77, of Aragon, GA, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.

Mrs. Smith was born in Wilmington, NC, on June 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Henry Gallups and Omie Crib Gallups. Trisha lived her early years in Columbus, GA and had been a resident of Aragon since 1997. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and pottery. Trisha was a Registered Nurse and had been employed with Douglas General Hospital and Floyd Medical Center before retiring as a home health nurse.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Argyroudis; and brother, Ronnie Gallups.

Trisha is survived by her husband, Dan Smith of Aragon, to whom she was married on August 27, 1991; children: Robert E. Smith III, Roberta, GA, Andrew Smith, Gadsden, AL, Amanda Smith, Silver Creek, and Jessica Hulsey (Matt), Cedartown; grandchildren: Nicholas Argyroudis, Megan Jackson, Ryan Terry, Brandon Terry, Abbie Hulsey, McKenna Hulsey, Colton Hulsey, Madeline Hulsey, and Kiley Hollis; great-grandchildren: Zachary Argyroudis, Skylar Jackson, Elanah Jackson, Tryston Jackson, Katherine Jackson, and Elizabeth Terry; sisters: Tyia Dawson, West Jefferson, NC, Nancy Grantham, Eufaula, AL, and Joyce Duke, Columbus, GA; brother, Duffy Gallups, Batesville, MS; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment followed in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
