Chris´s former neighbor, Ruthie Gard-W.

I had the privilege to get to know Joe when I lived across the street from Chris. A distinguished educator who was warm and friendly. I witnessed the absolute love that he had for his family, especially his grandchildren. Everyone should have a grandfather like Joe! His master woodworking skills were legendary, such as the gorgeous walking stick he carved for his grandson, Jimmy. Like my own father, I hold Joe in the highest regard. There is a reason why they are labeled as being from the greatest generation.
Condolences to Joe´s equally stunning wife, Betty, and daughters, Chris, Paula, and Ellen, sons, Joe and John, and all of their families. God Bless Joe Duris.
