Whenever the ladies went to lunch with Momina, we always had some handsome male friend coming bye to say hello to Momina! It soon became a joke among our friends how long before someone came over to our table. Not only was she a man´s woman but she was a women´s woman.
I miss you,

I met Momina late one chaotic night when we had to evacuate due to wildfires. We left Ramona and went to my brothers home (across from Momina's home). As the fire moved, we prepared to evacuate again, there in the middle of the street was Momina, trying to put her large suitcase, dog crate, and assorted boxes in her tiny convertible. We convinced her to come with us. She stayed with us for 10 days and we remained friends ever since. She summed up our chance meeting as, "The Lady and The Hillbillies". I thank God for blessing us with her friendship.

When I first met Momina, at San Rafael Catholic Church. I was impressed with her friendly demeaner. She was a very sweet lady, always beautifully dressed and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed.

When I moved to Rancho Bernardo in 1993 I saw this nice woman almost every morning walking past my house then turning and walking back up the street. I learned later that she lived quite a few blocks away from me, so this was a good walk for her. I admired her consistency but did not know who she was until I met her when I started to work as a volunteer at Pomerado Hospital. Momina was the Chair and Assistant Bookkeeper of the gift shop . Her work was part of making the volunteer organization at Pomerado Hospital effective and fun to be with. Thank you, Momina! I am glad to have known you.

Momina was a dear friend and was always so supportive of me through the years. I will miss her welcoming, smiling presence when I arrived at the Republican Women’s meetings and events.

What a delight to know as a number of us met after the RBRWF board meetings at Cocos once a month. She has already been missed as the meetings in person have been suspended. The family I know will miss her.
I hope to be at the remembrance gathering on November 3rd.

Momina had a lasting effect on the people she chose as friends. Our family was fortunate to have a special relationship with her for many years. She will always be in our hearts.
