Steven N. Linton

Steven Neil Linton, age 74, passed peacefully from this life on June 24, 2024, at home in San Diego, holding the hand of his beloved wife, Diane. Steve was born on February 23, 1950 to the late Evelyn A. Linton and Wilfred L. Linton, in Detroit, MI. Steve is also survived by his two children, Ross and Mary, his daughter-in-law Kayla and 3 grandchildren, Conner, Emma and William, as well as his sister Kathleen, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his older brother, Wilfred L. Linton, Jr.Steve attended Albion College and graduated from Wayne State University. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years before retiring to San Diego.Steve was a true renaissance man; an avid reader and lifelong scholar, who could build and fix anything from a bookcase to a house. He also could be found on the golf course whenever possible. Steve was known for his fierce loyalty and wonderful sense of humor. He was a brilliant and honorable man whom we will hold in our hearts forever.The family intends to hold private memorials. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
