Alma Post Obituary
Alma was born May 21, 1921, to Peter and Jane Verduin in Todd County South Dakota. She lived a long and happy life, spending time with her loving family and many friends. Spending winters in Englewood over the past 30 years was something Alma looked forward to. She loved the sun, playing cards with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and going dancing.
Alma dedicated her life to raising her family in a loving Christian home. She was kind, compassionate, upbeat, and never complained about anything. Everyone said "Alma always had a smile on her face.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Junior Post; son-in-law James VanSolkema; and great-grandson, Zachary Bolt. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna (Ron) Veltman, Sandy (Harley) Bolt, Kathy Post, and Vi (Terry) VanSolkema-Rudd; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A celebration of Alma's life will be held in Michigan on May 21, 2022.
