Francis A. "Frank" Souza

Francis A. (Frank) Souza, 77, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. The son of the late Frank N. And Angeline Souza, Frank was born in Taunton.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol (Read); his sons Russell and David and his wife, Linda; and grandsons, Joshua and Tyler Souza. His sisters Sandra Pineault of Florida, Kathleen Campanirio of Massachusetts and Florida, and Mariellen Smith and her husband, Greg of Indiana. In addition, his step-sons are Jay Gonsalves and his wife, Elizabeth, and David Gonsalves and his wife, Colleen; and grandchildren, Jake Gonsalves and his wife Andreanna, and Peter Gonsalves. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Frank was a Master Electrician and international electrical contractor who worked around the world as a Project Manager and later developed Taunton Electrical Corporation. He loved to tell stories about his travels to places far and wide and will surely be remembered for his sense of humor. Frank was also an avid boater who earned his Master Captain's license and traveled up and down the East coast and beyond.

A visitation will be held at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton on Tuesday, June 20th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment private. To leave an online condolence www.hathawayfunerals.com
