After the funeral we got back to the funeral home lots of flowers.. Of course state police officer had been killed in a tragic accident he was there being prepared for his funeral. A trooper was on duty every 3 hours never to leave the man alone. I spoke that we should leave some flowers by the door they basically guarded. My daughter took some baby's breath and some Fern and simply put it in a styrofoam cup. I walked by and simply wrote
State Police Officer
Thank You !
Later that afternoon my daughter went back to get the overabundance of flowers, upon entry they asked her to come meet the fallen officers wife. She cried out on my daughter's shoulder how amazing that was just something so simple but yet so touching. My daughter and her mother proceeded to get the Fallen Officers Wife and Guest a white and red rose from the bouquets they had for each of them. Somewhere In the Mix of this Max Fitzpatrick had his hands in the middle of it, that was my uncle never left anyone out. Just glad something so simple could touch the heart of such a young woman's broken torn tattered feelings. One great person or deed deserves another, hopefully that's some Resurrection to carry your family forward.
