John Vogley Obituary
Palm Desert, CA - August 8, 1928 - January 22, 2018
Surrounded by family, John passed away peacefully in Palm Desert, California. John is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, DeLite Biro Vogley, his daughter Kim Vogley of Quilcene, WA and four grandchildren, Sean and Megan Smaker of Sacramento and Oakland, CA, and Kaela and Kurt Franz of Oakland, CA and Brooklyn, NY.
Armed with charm and an insatiable smile, John excelled in a variety of endeavours: sailing, basketball, golf and as an equestrienne. He truly was a man for all seasons. As a Landscape Architect, John designed hundreds of corporate, public and private projects throughout the US, his legacy and contribution to the quality of our environment.
The family requests any gifts are in the form of donations to John's favorite organization: National Ability Center, NAC MOFO Ride 2018, care of Michele King, P.O. Box 980294, Park City, Utah 94098.
Services will be held for friends and family on April 21st, 1:00 pm at St. Joseph's Church in Marblehead.
