ADA MAE BRICKEY
Ada Mae Brickey, 73, of West Portsmouth, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014. Ada was born Aug. 7, 1940, to the late Howard A. and Mary K. (Tatman) Shaffer. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Tom Shaffer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
Ada is survived by her husband, Nelson Preston Brickey, five children; Barb (Jerry) Jividen, Linda Noel, Brenda Williams, Mike (Paula) Brickey and Annette Fields, 12 grandchildren; Heather Mullins, Candice Carpenter, Jessica Frye, Preston Frye, Aaron Noel, Josh Frye, Tyler Noel, Keith Conley, Autumn Brickey, Mary Brickey, Ira Williams and Kristin Fields, five great grandchildren; Addison and Ethan Mullins, Tiffany Frye, Lily Ruggles-Noel and Kenna Emmylou Conley, three siblings; Maxine (Jim) Loless, Willa Fenton and Jerry (Carlene) Shaffer.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Blaine McCallister officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
