I have known the Newsome family mostly through their daughters Wendy and Cindy. Wendy and I were cheerleaders at Green High School. I consider Wendy a lifelong friend and of all my friends Wendy was the most honest and innocent. We were all so proud of her when she was in the Riverdays contest and won second runner up. She is a kind soul and I can only attribute this to the rearing her dear parents gave her. Rest In Peace dear Betty, you have raised your daughters well.
