CARL EDWARD LINDNER
Carl Edward Lindner, Jr. passed away on Sept. 6, 2015. He was born Oct. 29, 1949, to the late Carl, Sr. and Beata Lindner. Carl graduated from Notre Dame High School in the class of 1967. He attended Xavier University and retired from the Atomic Energy Plant at Piketon. He was also a tissue donor with the Ohio Eye Bank.
He is survived by his wife Debbie and children Andrew (Tammy) Lindner, Angela (Adam) Dengel, Alan (Tracy) Lindner, Aaron (Beth) Lindner, and Adam (Laura) Lindner; his grandchildren Ava, Tatem, Brock, Azure and Azalea Lindner, Blaise, Isabella, and Sam Dengel, Bryce Hill, Katie and Kyle Cooper.
He is also survived by his siblings David (Sandi) Lindner, Martha (Steve) Diamond, Beata Ann (Mike) Zeune, Mary Ann Dodd and Sally (Dwight) Shaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Susan Book and a infant brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church where Carl was a life long member,with the Rev. Adam Streitenbereger officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Melcher Funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015
from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be 8 p.m.Wednesday at Melcher Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SOMC Hospice or St Mary Catholic Church.
