Dwight Shoemaker Obituary
DWIGHT LEE SHOEMAKER, 83, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1942 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Frank E. and Dorotha M. (Poole) Shoemaker, and was a former owner/operator of Shoemakers Sohio Service Station in Minford. Dwight was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Dillow) Shoemaker; one son, Dwight David Shoemaker; one daughter, Megan Maria Freedman, and one sister, Diana Shoemaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Duane Shoemaker.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
