BLAIR
COLUMBUS - June Avanelle Roe Blair, 64, of Columbus, formerly of Portsmouth, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born June 22, 1949, in Waverly to the late Robert Nelson and Lena Frances Bryant Roe. She had a House Keeping business in Columbus. Along with her parents, June was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Alfred, Carl and Larry Roe.
June is survived by four sons, Scottie Wayne Blair, Jeffrey David Blair, Wade Erwin Blair and Michael Paul Blair, all of Columbus; seven sisters, Eloise Holbrook of Wheelersburg, Agnes Howard of Portsmouth, Eunice Leslie of Pontiac, MI, Geneva Shy of Portsmouth, Clara Leslie and Norma Copas, both of Wheelersburg, and Teresa Horsley of Blue Creek; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. June was a caring person who was always giving to someone else. She was loved and will be missed from all who knew her.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Paul Leslie officiating. Interment will be in Roe Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday starting at 11 a.m. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
