Virginia Gambill Obituary
VIRGINIA "JANE" GAMBILL, 80, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.
She was born January 12, 1945 in Wheelersburg, a daughter of the late Ben and Lena Davis Potters. Jane was a 1963 Minford High School graduate and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gambill, on February 3, 2023; three sisters, Laurabelle Stevens, Tennessee Daniels, and Mabel Elkins; and five brothers, Albert, Eugene, Joseph, Lafe, and Edward Potters.
Jane is survived by her brother Earl (Nancy) Potters of Hurricane, West Virginia; a special nephew Mark (Denise) Gambill; and many other nieces and nephews. She was honorary mother to Karen (Larry) Jenner, Linda (Dale) Smith, and Trish (Tim) Maceyko.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Memorial Burial Park Chapel, with Mike Phillips officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home.
