WILMA J. CONKLIN
CEDARVILLE — Wilma J. Conklin, 89, of Cedarville, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 in Xenia, Ohio. She was born on January 8, 1928, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hescal and Sara (Clark) Cutlip. Wilma married Robert E. Conklin on January 15, 1948 in Portsmouth and he preceded her in death in 2014. Along with her husband, she is preceded by two sisters, Betty (Claude) Fannin and Clarice (Jess) Ramey. Wilma is survived by her children, Jeff and Judy Conklin and Emily and Ken Kauffman; grandchildren, Sara, Justin, Ryan, Robert "Logan", Joshua and Garrett; and three great-grandsons. Wilma was employed at Cedarville College where she retired from in 1980. She and her husband attended Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville and most recently were members of the Dayton Ave. Baptist Church in Xenia. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother, grandma and great-grandma who will live on through the hearts she touched. Private burial will be held at North Cemetery in Cedarville, Ohio.
