Albert McReynolds Obituary

McReynolds, Albert "Bro. Mac" Transitioned from this life to life eternal on Monday, June, 11th around the noon hour. He was a faithful worker at American Bridge for 30 plus years. His dedication was more apparent as a charter member of Greater St. James AME Church where he directed the choir for over 65 years until his health no longer allowed him to. Honorably discharged from the US Army served in World War II and Korean Wars, member of Gary Roosevelt Class of 1935. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Marjorie; daughters Valda (Clarence) Lewis and Albertine (Michael) Potter; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many godchildren; cousins; and other relatives. Viewing, Friday, June 15, 2012, 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Divinity Funeral Home, 3831 Main Street, East Chicago. Services: Family hour 10:00am, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Greater St. James, 2601 Massachusetts, Gary. The celebration service will be held immediately thereafter (Rev. Deborah Y. Scott, Pastor and Officiate, Rev. Harold Barnwell, Eulogist). Interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, Indiana. Services have been entrusted to Divinity Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater St. James AME Church Audio Department.
