Amalia Drvodelic

Drvodelic, Amalia Age 89, of Merrillville, IN passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. She is survived by sons, John (Laurie) Schuetzenhofer, Joe (Pam) Schuetzenhofer and Steve (Debra Fisher) Drvodelic; grandchildren, Karolyn, John Jr., Daniel, Nicole, Christina, Danny, David and Krystle; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Shelby, Alexis, Johnny, Zachary and Johnny; sister, Slavica from Croatia. Preceded in death by former husbands, Frank Schuetzenhofer and Josip Drvodelic. Amalia was a longtime member of St Joseph the Worker Church and the Alter Society. She was a custodian for the church and the rectory for many years. She retired from Anco and enjoyed spending time with her 'AHEPA friends'. Most of all, she truly enjoyed her family. Amalia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 330 E. 45th Avenue Gary, IN 46409 with Rev. Stephen Loncar OFM officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street Merrillville, IN 46410 and at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Mass.
