ANNA FAYE LYONS
Anna Faye Lyons, age 63, of Portage, IN passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Anna was born January 8, 1946 in Crofton, Kentucky to the late Daniel and Jesse (Overton) McGar. She married Darrell Lyons in December 30, 1963. Anna worked as a medical billing manager at Methodist Hospital. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, painting, arts & crafts, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was team captain for Relay For Life and walked for the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Lyons; sons, Mike (Kim) Lyons of Wheatfield, IN., Mitch (Lisa) Lyons of Valparaiso, IN. and Duane (Carol) Lyons of Portage, IN; brothers, Wayne (Pat) West, Daniel (Diane) McGar and Tony (Lisa) McGar; best friend and sister-in-law, Susie Kuhlmeier; 13 grandchildren and 5 great -grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 pm. www.EE-FH.com

Faye was my boss at the credit bureau for many years... so sad to read of her passing we had great times

I was sorry to see that Faye passed away. She and I worked together at the Credit Bureau many years ago. Your mother usually had a funny story to tell about something you boys had done.
My thoughts are with your family at this sad time.
