Bernard Williamson Obituary

BERNARD "BEN" CHARLES WILLIAMSON, SR. Age 91, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 after a short illness. He is survived by a daughter, Bernadette Wilson of Lowell; 2 sons, Bernard (Janice) Williamson, Jr. of Springville, TN and Dennis (Laura) Williamson of Hobart; grandchildren, Robert Shipley, Charles (Nina) Wilson, Sally (Bruce) Pollock, Douglas (Paula) Wilson, Michael (Cheryl) Wilson, James (Diane) Williamson, Jodi Holloway, Richard (Kim) Wilson, Gina (Todd) Taylor, Joel Williamson, Angi (Phil) Wills and Mandy (Tim) Mason; 25 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Von Strohe. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Myrl in 1997; daughter, Florence "Toodie" Shipley in 1993, and son-in-law, Donald Wilson in 1994. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Lowell, with Pastor Jeff Newton and friend, Lewis Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Lowell Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-9 P.M. at Sheets Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN 46356. This will be a time to share memories, see old friends, heal family and friends, and celebrate the life of a wonderful man. Ben leaves a legacy of love and acceptance to all of those who have known him. He was a lifetime farmer, carpenter, and member of the First United Methodist Church, 520 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN.

this is john williamson's granddaughter i just wanted to say how very sorry im to hear about uncle bernards death.we all know now that the brothers are together again. may god bless all of you
