CAROL JUNE MATTULL Gary, Indiana Formerly Hobart, Indiana Carol June Mattull, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Northlake Nursing Home in Merrillville. Carol was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving companion, Richard Smith, also of Gary; 5 children: Victoria Mattull of Hammond, Laura (Tom) Lucas of Brooklyn Park, MN, Diane (Ernie) Achor of Beaufort, SC, Julie (Luis) Cruz-Lopez of Crown Point, John (Nicole) Mattull of Valparaiso; 21 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Siebel of Merrillville. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Donald, Leonard, Raymond and Sonny Kukta, and sister, Patricia. Funeral services will be Monday, February 18, 2008 11:30 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. G.C. Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart.
