Corine P. Norman

CORINE P. NORMAN Gary, Indiana Corine P. Norman, age 99, was born on November 27, 1908, in Corinth, Mississippi. She later married Paul Norman. Unto this union 3 children were born. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the St. Mark Baptist Church of Corinth, MS. When her health failed she moved to Gary, IN, with her sons and later joined First Baptist Church of Gary, IN. Corine departed this life on February 5, 2008, at Lincolnshire Health Center in Merrillville, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Norman, 2 daughters-in-law, Princes Norman, Christine Norman, and son-in-law, Ardee John, Sr. She will be remembered by her loving children: 2 sons, Joseph L. Norman and Edward L. Norman of Gary, IN; daughter, Elise P. Johnson of Oakland, CA; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; cousins and other relatives and dear friends. Visitation Sunday, February 10, 2008, from 12 to 8:00 p.m. Family hour 6 - 7:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Funeral services Monday, February 11, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 626 W. 21st Ave. Rev.
