EDWARD L. LENZ Cedar Lake, Indiana Age 56, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at St. Anthony's Hospice in Crown Point. Survived by his wife, Darlene, of 26 years; two sons, Edward Brooks of Fennville, MI. and Eric Armalius; two step children, Julia Jackman and Wayne (Cindy) Jackman, both of MA; one step grandchild, Brandon Jackman; one sister, Betty Lenz of Crown Point; three nephews and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Larry; and one grandchild. Cremation will precede a Memorial, per Edward's wishes. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave., (corner of Rt. 41 & 129th Ave) Cedar Lake, IN. A Memorial Service will take place at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home, with Fr. Frank Lenz officiating. A Mass will be said for Edward at St. Mathias Church in Crown Point on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Mark Pavlina officiating. Ed was an avid golfer and gardener. He also loved his cats. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's name to St. Anthony Hospice, 203 Franciscan Dr. Crown Point, IN 46307.
