Emmett D. Willis Jr. age 72 departed to eternal rest on Friday December 25, 2020 in the comfort of his home. Emmett was born April 25, 1948 in Greenwood, MS to the late Emmett D. and Allie D. Willis. He graduated from Tolleston High School. Emmett was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from AT&T and Dove Electronics. He was the Pastor of Descending Dove Ministries and the Associate Pastor at Gary Move of God Church. Preceded in death by parents Emmett and Allie Willis Sr.,. He leaves to cherish his life memories faithful wife Stephanie Willis, children Emmett (Julie) Willis of South Dakota, TJ (W) Jackson of Indiana, Tiffany Siggers and Darryl Siggers of Merrillville, Indiana and Emmanuel (Angelina) Willis of Glendale, AZ; sister Brenda (Greg) Washington; Aunt Clorine Harris and former wife Lashung Willis, grandchildren Elijah , Keionte, Emeeshia and Patience; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation, Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 9: 00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

Dear family of Emmet, he was a kind soul. I remember him dearly from 1971, when I hired in at the phone company on 7th and Madison. He was a tester inside for repair calls and I took the calls. He always had us smiling. Jolene petruch...take care and be safe
