ETHEL LEE NICHOLS BLOOMFIELD Born January 20, 1928 to Henry and Mary Nichols in Canton, Mississippi. She was formerly employed by Lake County Convalescent Home in Crown Point, Indiana and R.R. Donnelly & Sons in Chicago. Mrs. Bloomfield was preceded in death by husband, Tyler Bloomfield; parents; and brothers, M.B. Davis and Henry Nichols Jr. Survivors include: daughter, Celestine Bloomfield; sons, John Tyler Bloomfield and Keith Leroy Bloomfield; sisters, Ruby Pratt of Gary, Indiana, Elwilda Esco of Canton, Mississippi; and brother, Clifton Nichols of Canton, Mississippi; aunts, Lela Brown and Flora Brigham of Chicago, Illinois; as well as four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation Monday, July 7, 2003 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave., Gary, IN. Funeral services Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Legal Services Organization of Indiana, Inc., 151 North Delaware Street, Suite 1800, Indianapolis, IN 46204-2534 or to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana, 9135 N.
