"Heaven's Very Special Child!" Jay-R Frederick Darryl Morrow, Jr., at age of 26, of Indianapolis, IN , passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Jay-R was born July 10, 1989 in Junction City, Kansas, the son of Demetrius T. Morrow & Frederick D. Morrow, Sr. He was raised in Gary, IN, by loving mom and devoted step dad, Terrance Tyler Dawson. where he graduated Center for Possibilities, Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Indiana at early age, later attending GPS Norton. Jay-R was baptized in Christ and begin attending services at an early age in September of 1997 at Greater First Baptist Church of East Chicago, IN, with the leadership of Bishop Tavis Lane Grant II. Jay-R was intelligent, happy, and handsome, with a smile and heart that touched the world! Survivors include his mother, Demetrius T. Morrow of Indianapolis, IN; his father Frederick D. Morrow, Sr. of Gary, IN; sisters, Demetria (Arthur) Newell, Tyler Dawson and De'Anna Dawson, both of Indianapolis, IN, Kristen Burdine of Jackson,TN, and NaTasha (Ryan) Lewis of Merriville, IN; Grandparents, Linda and Earnest Pelt of Gary, IN,Brenda Thomas of Bloomington, MN, and Annie Dawson of Gary, IN.; Nephews, Jayden, Jayion, and Kyree; Nieces, Alexia and Ashley. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 12:00 p.m. at Greater First Church, 4862 Olcott Ave, East Chicago, IN. Visitation one hour prior to Homegoing Celebration. Bishop Tavis L.
